The Pelagic Hunter Fishing Center (PHFC) boat ramp, located at 104 James Rd, Sneads Ferry, NC, offers convenient access within a protected marina directly connected to the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). The ramp is ideal for launching to the New River Inlet, New River, Browns Inlet, and ICW, supported by on-site fuel, fresh water, and ice. Sheltered from strong currents and winds, it ensures safe and easy entry to the ICW, making it a top choice for anglers and boaters exploring Sneads Ferry’s coastal waters. PHFC members have 24/7 access and launch for free. Non-members can launch during business hours and pay a small fee in the store.

The marina serves as the home base for Pelagic Hunter Sportfishing, a veteran-owned charter service led by Captain John C. Cruise III. The Pelagic Hunter II team won the 62nd Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. The team offers nearshore, offshore, and Gulf Stream fishing adventures on well equipped vessels.
